Pre-Purchase Cemetery Plots at a Discount!
The Islamic Society of Central Virginia is offering cemetery plots at Monticello Memorial Gardens. Alhamdulillah, our community has grown enormously, but at the same time the costs of burial continue to increase. To control some of these costs, the ISCV board has pre-purchased a number of plots, which we want to offer to members of our community at a discounted rate.
Community members who do not pre-pay for a plot can expect to pay $3,500 for a plot (the cost of purchasing direct from the cemetery is $5,500) if they are available. Those who want to pre-purchase can do so at $3,000 per plot, not including the vault, the digging, and other costs. For those who want to buy more than one plot, we are selling at a $100 discount per plot for every additional plot sold, up to a minimum price of $2,500 per plot. Pre-purchased plots will come with a certificate issued by ISCV Board.
Those who are interested can fill out this Google Form to indicate their interest and supply their contact information. A member of the board will be in touch with you.

We are in need of volunteers! Running any masjid takes the involvement of many people; the ISCV Board works hard to keep the masjid running and to develop programming, but for our community to thrive we need you all to volunteer your time to the masjid.

We are particularly in need of:
- Liaisons with the immigrant and refugee communities;
- Liaison with Islamic Relief USA;
- Co-moderators for virtual discussions;
- Volunteers to head youth activities;
- Volunteers for Ramadan, especially for food delivery;
- People to head a support group for new Muslims.

Masjid Parking Permits
In an effort to ease the parking situation on Friday, the ISCV has secured several parking spots for Jumaa Prayer on 801 Cherry Ave. The fee will be $10 / month. Please fill out the form here in order to receive your parking permit.
