Imam Ali's Note on IMPACT Participation
Monday, May 5th
First and foremost, major commitments were made and significant progress was reported on all of the issues we have working to address: homelessness, unemployment, and mental health. If you did not see the Daily Progress article, you can access it here:
Second, our congregation's attendance nearly doubled, Alhamdulillah! At least 54 of us made it out, and our presence was very notable, alhamdulillah.
May Allah reward all of you who took the time to attend and bear witness, and all of you who spent so much effort in spreading the invitation!

April 25th and 26th: Br. Ibrahim Youxi Kang and his wife, Sr. Fatima Chen, delivered a fantastic series of lectures. On Friday, Br. Ibrahim spoke about "Being Muslim in China." Br. Ibrahim and Sr. Fatima continued this conversation on Saturday, as well as reflecting on lessons from Surah Yusuf. What a blessing it was for our community to welcome these scholars to our town!
We also enjoyed Baby Sarah's Aqiqah on Saturday!
Thank you to our community for a wonderful weekend of learning and bonding!
